The person behind Resumii
Built by a student,
for students.
As a SAIT student navigating the competitive Canadian job market, I quickly realized how broken the standard application process was. I spent hours tweaking a single resume just to bypass the ATS for one co-op posting. I knew there had to be a better way to help ambitious students land interviews without the grueling grunt work—so I built Resumii.
Why Resumii exists
I remember sitting at my desk late at night, staring at a Co-op job posting that perfectly matched my skills. But applying wasn't as simple as clicking a button. I had to manually comb through my existing resume, re-type keywords I already had in my LinkedIn profile, and re-format everything just to appease a robotic ATS scanner. I thought, "There has to be a better way." And there wasn't. So I coded Resumii over the next few months to bridge the gap between human experience and corporate hiring algorithms.
What we're building
Our mission is simple: to remove the exhausting, repetitive grunt work from the job hunt. We want students and early-career professionals to spend less time fighting with Microsoft Word margins, and more time having the conversations that actually get them hired.
